Operation Help Iven Get Better

Hi everyone!

My name is Jazmin, and I’m one of Iven’s aunties.

As some may know Iven has been in and out of Rady’s Children Hospital in San Diego California. He begin to have what seemed like absent Seizures on November 7th. He went to the emergency room on November 12th where he was admitted and diagnosed with seizure like symptoms due to Epilepsy. They placed him on Keppra and released him two days later. Throughout the week he continued to have about 11 what seemed to be absent seizures along with complex seizures a day. On Thursday the 18th Iven had a seizure lasting over 5 minutes meaning his mom had to call emergency and he was transferred to the children’s hospital and admitted again. He was released on Saturday the 20th. On Saturday after going home his mom recognized some new symptoms occurring that did not seem seizure like. Iven woke up Monday morning unresponsive to questions or even his name, with other symptoms which lead to a seizure. He was rushed to the nearest hospital by ambulance once again and than once he was alert again he was transferred to Rady’s Children’s Hospital where he has been admitted. This has been a very overwhelming few weeks for everyone, but more so his parents and older brother. Risha and Brianna have missed a bit of work and the boys have both missed school over this time period and until they have answers, the “normal” life they live will not be going back to normal for a little bit. I understand it is closer to the holidays, but any kind of donations would be greatly appreciated to cover medical bills, medications, monthly bills, and any other things we will need for the future for Iven. He is currently still in the hospital so please keep him and his family in your hearts and pray for a diagnosis and a recovery back to his full self again.
