Help a Farmer Get Back the Life he Loves!
Our friend, Richy Rupp has always had an unwavering commitment to his farm and family, and he'd give his neighbors and friends the shirt off his back. Recently his life has changed following a devastating medical complication (contusion of the thoracic spinal cord) that has left him with partial paralysis. In an instant, the independence he has always known has been taken away and he now has challenges most of us can hardly imagine. Even in the midst of this hardship, he's still Richy and his determination and spunk remain strong. His goal is to not just adjust, but to regain as much independence as possible and continue to farm with his family.
A state-of-the-art power wheelchair would make that possible. The specialized wheelchair recommended by his medical team would provide the mobility, comfort, and support he needs to navigate daily life, participate in rehabilitation, and spend meaningful time where his heart has always been - on the farm.
Unfortunately, this life-changing equipment comes with a significant cost, and insurance does not cover everything he needs.
That's why we are asking for your help!
Every donation, no matter the size, will bring him one step closer to independence on his family farm. If you are unable to give, sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, church, and farming community is another way to help. As we know, farmers spend their lives providing - now it's our turn to help one of our own.
Thank you for your generosity, your prayers (keep 'em coming) and support. Your kindness will help keep Richy continuing doing the things he loves: farming, tractor pulls, SxS riding, more tractor pulls, and partaking in an occasional fireball. And most importantly, spending time with his family.
Richy will tentatively be back at the farm at the end of July.
With Sincere Gratitude,
Richy's Friends and Family
