Hi friends!
My name is Matt Pacholczyk and if we haven't met, I'm from Fort Worth TX and best friends with Henry Abuto.
This is a HUGE opportunity for us to be the Church and help someone in our body with a physical need, especially someone like Henry Abuto who serves literally everyone he meets and is the definition of a great friend to so many! Please read on, pray about this opportunity, and give if you feel led. What a cool opportunity to provide for someone in our body who has a need, and especially someone who we all love so much!!!
Recently, our friend Henry Abuto went through some family troubles and his car was taken by a family member and has not been returned. Long, difficult story, and definitely one that has been painful for Henry the past month or so. He has been driving a friend's car as a loaner, but is coming to the point where he's going to return that and invest in another vehicle. He's not looking for anything expensive because he wants to pay for it himself, but how cool would it be if we raised enough funds to buy a car for him?? He was looking at spending no more than $5,000 for a car to replace his old one. We could definitely raise at least enough to put a dent in this number and help him out!
I will be using the funds to go out and buy a car for him from an online car site. We are looking for a car very similar to the one he used to drive (Volvo XC60). We won't let Henry see the money but will instead use all of it to buy him a car and then surprise him with it!
Yes, $5000 is a lot of money, but we also have a lot of people who love Henry! I do not think this is an issue for us at all. Having said that, I would first want each person to pray about this opportunity to make sure it's something you'd want to invest in. Once you do and still feel led to give, please support! I will do my best to stop this thing once it gets to $5000 but if we go over, I will make sure the excess goes to the new WM campus.
