In 2022, after many, many years of dedication to the Kingsville community, our veterinarian, Dr Steven Pearson officially retired. Shelter medicine had evolved during the time he served our pets and is no longer mostly volunteered side projects. It is a job requiring a livable wage. We were way behind the curve! We have been working hard to get up to speed. Thankfully a new veterinarian is interested in starting slow with us and dedicating 25-30appts a month! We just need to raise funds to restock our vaccines and other supplies, get our anesthesia machine re-certified, refill oxygen tanks and buy additional surgical instruments. Help us raise our goal.
