Emma and Roisin Trek the Sahara for CHAS

We’re Emma and Roisin, a primary school teacher and nurse from the Black Isle. We’re raising money in aid of CHILDREN'S HOSPICES ACROSS SCOTLAND by hiking across the Sahara Desert. Emma is leaving her dog, and Roisin is leaving two kids behind for an epic 5 day trek over the dunes. We’re really looking forward to this challenge and hope to raise a heap of money for a great cause while doing it.

All over Scotland there are parents caring for babies and children with rare and life-shortening conditions. Some of them may have years with their child, some only months. Children's Hospices Across Scotland, CHAS, are there for the whole family providing them with the support they need through Robin and Rachel House hospices, our CHAS at Home team and Diana Children's nurses.

We appreciate that times are tough for a lot of people just now but anything that can be spared will make a difference to families facing unimaginable heartache. We’ve paid our travel and trip costs so don’t worry, you’re not paying towards a jolly for us! Thanks in advance lovely people.
