Operation Cure Carlos

Carlos Soto was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer. He is traveling to MD Anderson next week for additional testing with the full intention of finding a cure. He needs two things from his extended family and friends: our continued love and prayers and help with travel/lodging and medical care.

 

Carlos grew up in El Paso. He worked for the Department of Defense at Ft. Bliss for 20 years and served for the Texas State Guard for 15.  For the last 25 years, he volunteered as an instructor for the El Paso Young Marines, serving as the Commanding Officer for the last 7 years. He is a graduate of Austin High School.

 

Carlos is married to his loving wife, Sylvia Soto, for 35 years. He is the proud father of four children and six beautiful grandchildren, with another on the way.

 

Carlos is known for his sense of humor, contagious smile, impressive dance moves, outgoing personality, positive attitude, will power, and incredible strength.
