Despite on-going socialization work, a mobile vet remains their only option for non-routine veterinary care. Due to their shy nature and living situation, these wolf dogs cannot simply be crated to go to a vet on a leash like domestic dogs can.
Operation Cupid’s Arrow will be a four-day effort by a highly-qualified veterinary team that has experience working with sanctuaries and zoos and understands their work will be donor-funded.
Your donations go directly to pay the veterinary costs associated with this event.
Your gift of $50 provides a mercy grooming for a wolf dog whose matted fur is so tangled and close to the skin it is causing pain.
Your gift of $75 provides a dental cleaning for an older wolf dog in need of relief from painful conditions caused by poor nutrition before their rescue.
Your gift of $150 provides necessary wound care for two dogs injured when playing a bit too roughly.
Your gift of $400 provides spay surgery for two female wolf dogs to prevent future uterine infections and breast tumors
Your gift of $1,000 covers the hospital fee (anesthesia, oxygen, recovery kennel, supplies, wash station, operating tables, generators, etc. )
Whatever the amount of your gift, please know that it will go directly to veterinary care for a former HDW wolf dog now living at Eagle Tail Mountain Sanctuary.
We will keep each of you, our valued supporters, informed from setup on February 13th, to the final day, February 16th. Be sure you don't miss anything by following us on Facebook and signing up for our email newsletter now.
