Operation Clean Sweep
April 16th I had a severe asthma attack, which led to acute respiratory failure. I spent 10 days in the ICU, intubated and heavily sedated and then spent a week in a rehab unit, doing PT and OT.
Before I can return home, my digs have to be professionally cleaned. Part of the reason my lungs were so weak was because due to severe depression I had been very low on the executive function and my house was full of inhaled allergens like dust, cobwebs, cat dander, mould, and mildew.
I also need my HVAC system vents professionally cleaned, to make sure that my air conditioning doesn't continue to blow new inhaled allergens into my home that are in the existing ductwork.
After that, the plan is to have a cleaning service in every 2 weeks to do the dusting, and kitchen and bathroom floors.
I also had almost no income in the last two months, and likely won't be able to go back to work until mid-June.
I love my flat. I miss my flat. I would like very much to return to my flat. And and you can help make that a reality.
