Operation Change My Life

My name is Jae. I am 12 years old, and I have autism and ADHD. I also have severe anxiety and sensory processing disorder. I love legos, Minecraft and animals and i hate mean people, loud noises and crowded places. I do not have many friends because people think I am annoying and weird. It is lonely. I have struggled a lot with making friends. I am in therapy to help me learn how to better deal with social interactions and how to curb my self-harming tendencies. It's a lot of work, but I am trying really hard.

I really think getting a service dog will help me a lot! IT IS REALLY EXPENSIVE!!! I am starting this go fund me and will spend the next year trying to raise funds to go towards my goal of getting and training my furever best friend. Having a service dog will help me so much with feeling lonely. It will help me with my anxiety and emotions. When my hands keep moving I can just pet my dog and calm down. He will comfort me and make me feel safe when bullies make fun of me or make me upset. He will help me in crowds and with loud noises and in school.

I know having a service dog will be alot of responsibility. I am prepared to make sure my dog is loved and i will feed him, give him baths, brush him, take him for walks, play with him. We will train together and I will pick up his poop. It will be epic and awesome and make me so happy. He will take care of me and I will take care of him.

Please consider helping me make my dream come true and making my life better with a service dog. I will work for it by selling some of my stuff, i can mow your yard, clean your bathroom, pick up your doggy poop or cat poop. I can draw you pictures too. I want to earn this.

UPDATE: In August 2022- I found my dog! He is a Golden Retriever and I named him Hero! We chose a trainer, but sadly it was not a good fit. We were lucky enough to find another trainer that is AMAZING! Jamieson Creek Kennel in Clovis, NM will be helping us train Hero! We are currently 4.5 months into training and still have a long ways to go. Funds are super tight and training is super expensive. Please consider helping.
