About Operation Catnip, Inc.

Operation Catnip, Inc. was incorporated in 1997 in Raleigh, North Carolina as the first of its kind program in the southeastern United States to humanely address the over population of stray and feral cats through Trap Neuter, Vaccinate and Return (TNVR). Operation Catnip, Inc. has been in continuous operation since that time providing a free monthly spay-neuter clinic where community cat caregivers in the greater Raleigh, NC area bring trapped cats for sterilization, vaccination and eventually returned to their outdoor homes. Operation Catnip has sterilized tens of thousands of cats since its inception. Our mission remains to humanely control the un-owned, free roaming cat population by sterilizing as many cats as possible.
