Pete and Kathy Kujawa need to come home. A few years ago they were relocated to Tennessee for Pete's work. Pete has had cancer and has been fighting his butt off since day one, but things are getting worse. Between the chemo and all of the meds he is on he isn't strong enough to work anymore. He was recently in the ICU because his kidneys shut down and poisoned his blood. Pete is on short term disability and if they move back home now, they won't be able to afford their mortgage in Tennessee until the home sells because Kathy is the sole income provider as of right now. Pete's short term disability is not even near enough for what their mortgage is. If they move back Kathy won't have an income anymore, which is forcing them to stay in Tennessee instead of coming home to be with family during this terrible time. Pete is a fighter and he is fighting his butt off, but some battles are harder and near impossible to beat. ANYTHING helps! I am trying to raise enough money for them to be able to pay a few mortgage payments and to help with some of the expensive moving costs from Tennessee to Illinois. They need to come home and be with family, and be surrounded by support. Unfortunately they don't know anyone in Tennessee which makes this time even more difficult.
