FINAL UPDATE: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

That's a wrap! Thank you, enjoy the vid, and stay tuned for our next bit of magic coming soon!

"I know a bank where the wild thyme blows..."

We're making a music video! Dark, magickal, operatic with a grungy twist.

Imagine a primal creature made of dry twigs, black diamonds, and spite, emerging from the woods at dusk to begin its seduction.

This forest demi-deity, the fairy monarch Oberon from Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream, sings with the rich, sensual persuasion of poisoned honey, and its universe is a plane of slowed time, moral ambiguity, and richly tense sexuality.

Sung by mezzo soprano Nikola Printz, this aria becomes a fantasy about fantasy and the dark worlds we create in our deepest dreams.

FEATURING:
Mezzo-soprano Nikola Printz as fairy deity Oberon, performing "I Know a Bank Where the Wild Thyme Blows" from Britten's Midsummer Night's Dream

Actor/model Milan Whitfield as "Sleeping Beauty," the everywoman  whose dreams materialize as the possessive, obsessive Oberon.

Ready to give us your money? Need more reasons?

Our creative team is bursting with womxn and queers. We're making this to exercise our passions and see ourselves represented in opera. If you care about diversity in the arts, this is a project you can feel GREAT about supporting.
