When a paralyzed man couldn't make it through the crowd to see Jesus, his friends made an opening in the roof where Jesus was preaching and lowered him into the house (Mark 2:1-5). We need to take Cathy to Jesus so she can be healed too, and we're opening the roof!

Cathy has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer of the plasma cells in bone marrow. In May, she'll need a bone marrow transplant, a complicated and expensive procedure requiring an extended stay in Dallas. Her own cells have been harvested and will be transplanted back into her body. She will also undergo a concentrated chemotherapy treatment. While Cathy won't need to stay in the hospital throughout her recovery, the doctors have ordered her to stay close by in case her body rejects the treatment. She won't be able to work for a while and will need special care during her recovery. Together, we can provide her with the resources she needs to get healthy.

Your donation will go toward Cathy's medical bills, a hotel/rental in Dallas after her treatments, and supplemental income since she won't be able to work.
