Open Made Well Center's Doors

The Made Well Center for Wholeness seeks to be a space where holistic healing/living well can occur. We seek to see sustainable change happen in our community, and offer individuals a safe space to learn and grow. The Made Well Center will be a GIVE-BACK wellness center in which 10% of service fees will go into a scholarship pot for individuals who cannot otherwise afford these services. The Made Well Center currently offers all of the following:

1) Counseling/therapy (in-office & online)
2) Physical Fitness and healing (private & group yoga/ personal training)
3) Trainings/workshops - geared towards educating individuals on a deeper level on various topics (stress reduction, conquering trauma, mind/body/spirit connections, yoga for mental health, etc.)
4) Wellness Retreats to give individuals a chance to "reset" and restore health in a relaxing environment.

The only problem is, WE DON'T HAVE A CENTER! That's where you come in...

We can't make this the Made Well Center for Wholeness without the help of individuals who believe in having a space where education, healing, movement, support and community can all happen UNDER ONE ROOF. 



In order to do this we are trying to raise money to support the Made Well Center doors staying open for a minimum of 6 months. Six months of rent in most Wilmington, NC office spaces can cost anywhere from $1500 to $3000 per month. That's a lot of dough. This is where we need your help!!

We've calculated the cost for 6 months of rent because we believe that if we can get our doors open for 6 months, we will be able to sustain ourselves and offer more individuals than ever a chance at AFFORDABLE health and healing. So here's our calculations so far:

- 6 months of rent at $2,500 avg price: $15,000
- EMR system to keep client records confidential for 6 mos: $360
- Gently Used furniture to keep our clients calm and comfy: $3000
- New yoga mats/materials (blocks, bolsters, oils, etc): $1000
- Marketing Materials: $1640
- Updates to rental space, and hiring additional employees: $4000

Once we open our doors, we would like to offer more of a 1 for 1 type business model in the realm of health and healing. 
We want the purchase of yoga class passes to offer another individuals who may not be able to afford it the opportunity to move just like the rest of us. We want to have individuals be able to afford counseling because someone else's healing experience afforded them the opportunity to get counseling for themselves.

We want individuals to feel confident in their healing journey, as well as feel that they can easily access this healing opportunity without having to jump through so many barriers. We want to provide our community a space to come, host events, learn, grow, share a cup of coffee, and support one another in the journey to living WHOLE.

$250-$499- 10 Free Yoga Classes, or 3 Free Personal Training Sessions
$500-$999- Your name or Company advertised at our GRAND OPENING plus 10 Free Yoga Classes
$1000-$4999 - Your name or Company advertised at Grand opening party, plus 10 Free Yoga Classes, plus Made Well Center Swag
$5000-$9999- Free yoga classes for a year, Advertisement at Grand Opening, A gift in your name for someone to receive 8 counseling sessions.
$10,000+ - You're a saint and I'm singing your praises from the Mountain Tops. Plus you will be advertised 10x over at the Grand Opening Party, and we will have a special place of honor for you in our Center. Plus, let's get real - you'd be able to come to yoga/personal training ANYTIME you want!
The great thing about this GoFundMe is that it will last until August. If I have over 3/4 of the money raised I am still going to go for Gold and open the center. If Not, I will refund everyone's money to them when the campaign is over (minus the fee that GoFundMe will take from this), and I'll know that the city of Wilmington must be doing pretty Okay and is not in need of a space like this.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart already. I've already spoken to many of you about whether or not this is a good idea, and everyone has said "GO FOR IT!" So this year I am Believing Boldly in the Beginning of the journey. This truely is the beginning of something much bigger than ourselves.
