Hello Family & Friends,
My name is Raquel Bethea. I’m a wife with two children and a bonus child. I have been in education for 17 years. I have my associate degree in teacher education and going back to get my bachelor’s degree. I have worked with all ages groups from the ages 6 weeks through 12 years of age. I’ve been an infant/toddler & preschool teacher for 15 years and a kindergarten teacher for 2 years.
A little bit of my why. I have been procrastinating for some time now on opening up my future childcare center. I have plenty of families I’ve worked with who is waiting for me to open up my center. The name of my center is Bright Colors Early Learning Center. I feel like with the support system I have I feel like my future center can open next year or sooner. I found my building and it’s a perfect building to create my childcare center. Also in a great and
safe location for the little ones. I always look out for people whether if it’s family or not, but I always forget about myself. I am very passionate on what I do for a living and ready to expand my brand. It’s my time to focus on me and my business now and get this up and running. I was hesitant to get on here but I put my pride to the side and said if I want something done and I’m trying to reach my goal why not ask. Getting what I can could really get me started and get materials, if the buildings needs work done I will be able to do that. I have to start from somewhere and I’m starting here. People use this site and abuse it but this is not the case if you know me personally. I’m here to get all the help I can get to open up my center. I don’t care if it’s $5. I can buy some crayons with that lol. Anything helps. Funding and grants are in the process but it takes time. Again I have my eye on this amazing building and have been driving by the building and I just pray on it.
