Neven’s open heart surgery fund

My mom said it best-

As we know, life in social media gives you the ability to create a perception that may barely scratch the reality of that life.

Our little man has faced significant challenges due to a large ventricular septal defect (VSD). He also has multiple atrial holes (ASD) This will result in open heart surgery within the next 30 days. He currently has to go in for an echo every week and for monitoring of the congestive heart failure symptoms. We have also been told to expect 10-14 days in ICU and a few difficult weeks at home.

Despite the struggles and the progression of his condition, we know there will be light at the end of this tunnel and are working closely with a team of skilled doctors to plan for his upcoming surgery.

First time young parenthood is hard when everything is good. We are asking for your thoughts, prayers, and any donation. We already have bills piling up and that pile will continue due to having to stay at home to help care for Neven in the weeks following surgery.
