Open Source Shield is a group of makers in the San Francisco Bay Area designing, assembling, and distributing protective face shields to hospitals, caregiving organizations, and anyone else who needs protection. We also make available do-it-yourself plans and tutorials so others can make shields.
We will use the funds to buy materials for the face shields (plastic sheeting, foam padding, and Velcro tape) and then deliver the face shields to organizations in the Bay Area and across the country.
We love what we're doing and our recipients love what we're making. Help Open Source Shield protect those on the front lines and flatten the curve!
