Open Purusha Yoga Studio

Hello Friend,

We have missed you since the close of our beloved Purusha Studio. The Pandemic sent us all into a collective and personal path of strange and challenging times. To rise like a phoenix from the ashes means to emerge from a catastrophe stronger, brighter, and more powerful. We are called to open the studio, create a thriving community space, and continue bringing love, light, and laughter to our community through movement, breath, and music.

The world is transforming, our beloved city is shifting, and each one of us is being given a chance to heal, connect, grow and thrive. At the heart of Purusha is the mission to serve our community. Bringing yoga to the under-served and at-risk populations while providing a space for those who can come together and contribute to the greater good. We are trying to open our beloved balboa studio to carry out our mission and serve the community as we once did.

Purusha Yoga is a unique studio that welcomes everyone and creates a space where everyone feels comfortable, safe, and celebrated. With an attitude of come as you are; there is no need to put on fancy clothing or be able to perform certain poses. Everyone is welcome. As always, we invite you to show up, share your truth, settle in and enjoy the practice. We will continue providing online services simultaneously for our friends nearby and worldwide.

The funds you contribute will help us buy the software and hardware needed to run the studio, props, and equipment and support operational costs for the first few months to help us get up and running smoothly. We look forward to practicing with you in person. All the love, Joy and Eric
