Amy DeLorenzo's Celebration of Life

Amy has touched so many lives through her dedication to social justice and advocacy, involvement in the Deaf community, decades of teaching with passion, and fierce loyalty and friendship. Amy was told by her doctor that all of her treatment options have been exhausted. As Amy would like to spend time with her friends and people who love her, we have planned an Open House Celebration of Life event for her on Sept 19th. Amy has requested karaoke, tarot reading, a slide show and music. This event will be a celebration of Amy’s bright light!

This event will be Open House style from 2 pm – 5 pm, drop in at a time that works for you. Keeping Amy’s favorite things in mind, we will have karaoke, tarot readings, and music. We will be sharing more information about the open house soon.

Many people have asked how they can support Amy during this phase of her journey. Whether you can attend this event or not, this is one way of helping her.
This fundraiser will help cover the cost of this event and the remaining funds will go towards Amy’s medical expenses. 


Amy is looking forward to this positive event! Thank you for loving her and being an important part of her life!

Thank you all who have contributed!!!!!!!!!! The funds will truly help with the event and Amy's medical bills.  As most of you may know that Amy has stopped working. Amy and Zo will need every help they can get with medical bills. We will let this fundraiser run, if you are able to give please feel free to do that. If you are not able to give, that is ok! please share this fundraiser. There are also other ways to help her (meal train, lawn care etc, check Amy's caring bridge for more information on facebook) Thank you all for giving back to Amy what she has poured in our community with her strong social justice passion, her love for teaching and always supporting all of us.
