Open Heart Surgery-Ebstein's anomaly

Hi, my name is Luz Montour and I am fundraising for, Emilia, my 10 year-old granddaughter's open-heart surgery. She was diagnosed with Ebestein's Anomaly when she first was born and now the time has come to perform surgery to correct this. She and her parents must travel from Amarillo TX to Houston TX one week before the surgery. She will then be admitted and will have to remain there for an additional three weeks.
The funds will be used for current and continuing travel expenses such as food, lodging and to make up some lost income due to the four weeks away from work. I would like for my daughter and son-in-law to be able to focus on my granddaughter's recovery and not worry about their expenses.
As a grandmother, my children and my grandchildren are my life. Emilia is an active almost 11-year-old. She has three brothers and is getting ready to join the school band. Her dream is to open up an animal shelter one day.
