Hi everyone. Susanne is going to be having open heart surgery to repair her mitral valve, and in the process also repair her indented sternum. We found a surgeon in Tacoma Washington that is willing to do the tricky surgery with Susanne’s other structural issues.

We have incurred a lot of expenses with going to another State to have the procedure done. 

Jay has been working part time through the summer in order to be available to help with daily activities and the kids. He had to take off from work in order to go. 

A repaired heart is costly. Not repairing a broken heart is costlier.

Church friends, neighborly friends and extended family have graciously given time and energies to help us make it thus far, thank you all. So many of you have prayed and prayed - for which we are grateful.

Recovery is going to be challenging- but so worth it. Please don’t feel pressured to give. If you do feel lead to give, it will help allow us to focus our energies on living, loving and getting well.
