This is Korie Chavez, she is 2 years old.  She was born with Goldenhar Syndrome.  Her parents are Eddie and Karla Chavez.  She was recently diagnosed with Scimitar Syndrome.  It is a rare congenital heart defect; her veins are not going from her lungs straight to the heart, they are going down and coming back up causing lack of blood and oxygen. The only way to fix it is with open heart surgery.  This surgery will take place in Denver, Colorado early next year.  A team of surgeons are working on a medical plan to help her.  We are asking kindly that you open your hearts and help us help them pay for expenses.  God bless you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
