On March 8, 2019, we were blessed with our son Keenan. He has changed our lives with his ever present smile and love for life. Keenan was born with a ventricular septal defect and a double aortic arch, which resulted in him staying at the NICU at Children's Hospital of Milwaukee for a week after he was born.

Open heart surgery is now scheduled for 8am on October 31st to repair his heart defects. This will also take place at Children's Hospital of Milwaukee. 

Although Keenan has insurance, it doesn't cover everything. With a minimum stay of 5-7 days after the surgery, and a recovery period of 6 weeks, there will be lost work days and plenty of out of pocket expenses over and above what insurance will cover.
