Hello, my name is Doug Shouse and I am fundraising to help with this particular and very serious procedure that is needed for 10 year old Byron’s open heart surgery. Byron resides with his mother Cynthia, and my step-son Carlos Torres. Byron Urgently needs open heart surgery to reconstruct the valve in his heart to prevent blood from leaking into his lungs, which is currently effecting his health in a very serious manner. Sadly Byron may only have 3 to 5 months to live (per his diagnosis) if the valve isn’t fixed. The surgery is approximately $500,000 pesos (equivalent to $25,000 dollars).
