My name is Courtney Johns, and I am the proud founder of the Focused on My Future Foundation.

At our foundation, we are committed to fostering a lifelong love of reading by providing children’s books at no cost to children starting from birth.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to encourage early reading, bridge the gap of illiteracy, and promote early literacy. We believe that when children are exposed to books at an early age, they develop not only stronger reading skills but also the confidence, imagination, and curiosity that build the foundation for lifelong success.

Through our work, we aim to ensure that every child—regardless of background—has access to the joy and opportunities that come from being a reader.
