Operation Blackboard

Our goal within this organization is to provide free vision tests for underprivileged children around the world. Many kids drop out of school because they cannot see the board or schoolwork. With limited education, they may lack opportunity to find jobs. These vision tests will provide free eyeglasses specific to each child's prescription. Each pair of glasses costs $3 to manufacture. The money we raise will go to buying glasses for the children in schools we visit. These glasses are a simple solution that could change the course of many children's lives. With remaining money, we will provide basic school supplies such as pencils, paper, books, crayons and more for these schools, which lack the funding to provide them for their students.
