We're a couple of guys from Italy currently on the ground at the Ukraine Border between Przemysl and Medyka in order to work as volunteers and build a network that will help us facilitate the arrival of other volunteers from Italy in the coming weeks. The situation here is really dramatic.

We will use our own money to cover flight, food and accommodation costs. In case we won't be able to use your donation for whatever reason, you will be immediately refunded for the full amount.

Operation Update:

About €1.4k has been spent to buy all the items refugees are currently most in need of, mainly bags, suitcases and socks.

 

The remaining amount has been used to buy food, we in fact partnered with a Dutch company that produces complete food bars (Jimmy Joy) that made a €300 delivery for us from the Netherlands.

 

Given their extreme energy efficiency, these bars have mainly been distributed to refugees who were undertaking long journeys to host countries, but will also be taken into war territory and delivered directly to Ukrainian citizens who haven't managed to leave the country yet.

We furthermore cooperated with the Italian Civil Protection, Red Cross and the Italian Embassy in Poland to facilitate the arrival of refugees in our country and partnered with the "In Your Shoes" association for a special shoes delivery for refugees. We finally streamlined the arrival of other volunteers from Italy thanks to the connections made on the ground.
