"Oorah! I'd give my left kidney for that guy!"

My cousin, Dave Kohut, is a hero in lots of ways. He is a retired Marine (wait, that's not really a thing, is it?). Anyway, Dave has served around the world and in the USA. He has built a lovely family with a beautiful wife and 5 great kids. He has also re-built his home and helped others to rebuild after the devastating Carolina hurricanes. Now, he is helping my Uncle Dan (aka Uncle Awesome) to rebuild his health. In January 2024, Dave is traveling to Cleveland Clinic in order to give my uncle a kidney. The organ translplant will end the 3x a week dialysis treatments that my uncle has needed for these past 3 years.

The organ donation is a huge sacrifice. We are hoping to minimize other sacrifices that Dave and his family will need to make. We're asking for your financial support to help cover the lost wages that Dave will experience while he recovers from the surgery.
