Oops I Messed Up, Help Me and Mandie!

Donation protected
Hello! Many of you know generally I am doing fundraisers for others who are in need, but today that is Mandie and I (oops).

My daytime career in campaign management is not likely to resume until midterms, and while I have applied to many many organizations and nonprofits in the past six months, most are not hiring and saving their funding until midterms as well. I was living off the savings I made from working on prop 139 last year from Jan-June because my monthly bills are rather small(im frugal af) and now I am back to being paycheck to paycheck for the next few months until I catch up. That is why I went back to working security at Club Contact, which is a job I love, but it is a new one and it seems I will be getting one paycheck this first month, not two.

On top of this, at my night time career of booking and promoting DIY shows at MySpace, I made a grave oopsie and got a artists car towed. I immeadiatly paid it of the same day, but security work is part time and I cant really count on my paycheck to make up for this. I was trying to sell my art at MySpace but this is only really a good payout garentee on first Fridays, and while we get donations nightly at MySpace all of that goes to the artists and the small cut we take if any goes to replenishing water and other needs for the space.

Additionally, about a week ago we checked our electricity usage and it more than double its usual amount(even compared to last summer) and climbing. We are not sure if this is due to the 13% rate increase in the news, the fact that we have taken in two friends in need(who are both luckily have found new safe homes to go to and one of them are transitioning out next month) so they don't have to be on the streets, or if Arizona just suddenly decided it hates us.

Either way, I care about Mandie, the people we house, and the work I am able to do to help community members in need and throw rad DIY shows and while I feel bad saying so, I do need a roof over my head to be able to continue to do those things effectively. I have set the goal low to cover what was lost but we may raise it based on what our paychecks shake out to be after other increasing bills hit us. I am confident that both Mandie and I are going to be fine by August looking at our income, but this transition period is one that we need help with and its my duty to ask rather than roll w the punches and come up short on the 1st.

Hate having to do this, hate having to use this for myself and not someone in need, but luckily no one has reached out to Coven to do another fundraiser in a bit and so now is the time. Please know anything helps, even $5, and if you cant donate, and share is as good as a donation.
