#SmallBusinessRelief
My name is Gina Grey. I am a visual artist, educator and small business owner. I combine my passion for the environment, love of science and creative practice to create a line of luxurious skincare with truly clean ingredients.
12 years ago I was reading a bottle of shampoo. Moments later I was in a flurry of research trying to understand a long list of toxic ingredients. That was the day I started making my own products from scratch. After 8 years of urging from friends and family I launched OOliva.
Our vision rests on three pillars at OOliva . Clean Ingredients for people and planet. Ethical farming and labor and transparent consumer information. It is our priority to let customers know natural ingredients can be just as problematic as synthetic ones if they are not used appropriately. I focus on skin safe ingredients especially as it pertains to essential oils and I have earned certifications and safety training from the Tisserand Institute.
Since our launch we’ve seen $80,000 in sales and over 3000 orders online. Last year our sales increased by 40% and in the first quarter of 2020 our sales tripled. It felt like the sky was the limit and that 2020 was going to be our first profitable year. We looked up and along with the rest of the world crashed into the brick wall of COVID-19. 78% of our sales come through wholesale accounts and our retail events. These have come to a complete halt. Help us weather this storm and keep our little OOliva reaching for the sky.
Thank you so much for supporting OOliva - your generosity means the world to us!
