Onyx recently suffered a stroke and is currently in the ICU. She had to be intubated to keep her alive and prevent another stroke. She is undergoing testing but we have yet to discover what caused it. Therefore, we will probably be at this hospital for some time which is out of state for us. We will be paying out of pocket to stay in a local airbnb.. Her dad will be missing work for an undetermined length of time and when she is finally able to go home she will need a much higher level of care, including the possibility of hired help and medical equipment.
