Onyx recover some sight.

Hi my name is Angela and I am funding for my beautiful baby Onyx. Onyx is currently 16 weeks and already is suffering the effects of a neglectful breeder.

I bought him at 13 weeks and fell in love with him as soon as I saw him. I rapidly realised that something wasn't right with his eyes, a day after bringing him home I had him in the vet.

He had severe entropian on both lids plus cherry eye. His 3rd eyelid was so swollen the vet couldnt even see if he had eyeballs. I was devastated knowing how serious this condition could be.

I treated him at home as directed by my vet whilst I waited for the specialist.

A week later I took out a loan and he had his first surgery. That was at a cost of 1800€. He is blind in the left eye and we hope that he may have some sight in the right. He had been left so long scar tissue was already present over the eyes.

It wasn't good news for Onyx or for me. As a single parent, through no fault of my own, I am left with a huge financial burden. I know many will be thinking why I kept him, (especially since his owner offered me my money back in exchange for her pup back) but returning him into the environment that caused this unnecessary damage was never on the agenda. I would not be part of such brazen cruelty and neglect.

I have spoken to various animal charities and welfare groups regarding help with the fees I am incurring as he needs 1 possibly 2 further eye surgeries. One to open the right eye further and another to remove the cherry eye on the left side.

No one offered me any support. I now find myself having to beg for help.

Im asking you to please open your heart and help me pay for the following two surgeries. Please help me get him justice and possibly some sight.
