Hi friends & family.

unfortunately, we come to you today w/ devastating news about our beloved german shepherd puppy, onyx. about a month or so ago, we noticed she would get shortness of breath & tire out very quickly whenever she would do any physical activities. we took her to the vet, who then recommended a heart specialist, and we were told if she doesn’t have emergency surgery soon, she will only have about 2 months left to live… the specialist said she has an enlarged heart (pic for reference) and small aorta valves meaning her heart can’t circulate blood around the rest of her body normally. we want to try everything we can for our baby, but the surgery she needs to survive would cost us thousands of dollars which none of us can afford at the moment. she’s brought us so much joy & love in the 5 months she’s been alive, and we’re hoping that she can be with us much longer than that. if you’d like to support, you can use the link in my bio to donate to her surgery fund. we truly appreciate anyone that’s able to donate, share this post, or even say a prayer for our baby girl. love y’all & thanks for reading
