Onward: to the Safety of the City!

I'm Katalina, and right now: I need your help. After a decade as a housewife, I unfortunately found myself suddenly single, unemployed, and without a hope. Searching for work in the small town I'd been living in yielded no results even after 2 steady years of job applications, and it seemed all hope was lost, but a new path forward has appeared. Thanks to some friends in the city, I have a space to stay while I pursue work there and find a space of my own. In only a couple weeks of sending out applications, I already have some call backs for interviews. It's more amazing than I'd hoped. However, I still have need of assistance getting there, getting settled, and covering essential living costs like food and medications. Additionally, I am in need of a few things to help me make the job hunt and interviews easier, and some support in securing gender affirming care.

I am in need of an entry level laptop for job hunting and tailoring resumes and cover letters, clothes for interviews as well as on the job, HRT refills, psych med refills, and money for food and rental contributions. These are the bare minimum goals. Ideally, I'd also like to be able to have the funds necessary to begin my legal name change as soon as I've landed in the city, and maybe a laser session for my face and neck. Finally stepping free of the tiny TERF town I've been trapped in, claiming my true name, taking on work again, and starting the road to being rid of my dysphoria inducing facial hair would be a hell of a beautiful start to this new life, and I sincerely hope we can make it happen.

I've had to ask for a lot of help to get this far, but it is my genuine desire that this be the very last time. Success is just a few weeks away, and with this final ask: I plan to seize it, and go live the life I've been desperately trying to reclaim these last 21 years.

I know this is a steep ask, but i also know that this would have me securely taken care of long enough to make sure I'm gainfully employed and able to charge forward into this new life. Anything gifted beyond these goals will continue to be used for meds, HRT, and laser hair removal sessions.

When I first set out to try and survive the end of my life as a housewife, I didn't think I'd make it this far. A year of applications in this tiny town lead nowhere, but in just over a month I've already started getting calls for interviews in the city. It's time to get out of this town and reclaim my life. <3
