At the end of last May, I jokingly told Bobby to write me a play. 10 days later he sent me his first draft. Instead of writing just anything, he presented me with a story which is based in truth that shows him in his most vulnerable light. We've been working on it together since we started chasing our dreams in Los Angeles and our plans are finally coming to fruition. Thanks to the generosity of our friends and family, we are almost there!

"Only the Beginning" follows the struggle of a young man trying to hold everything together after being thrust into the middle of his parents tumultuous divorce. It is a work of fiction, but like most art, it comes from a place of experience. 

"Divorce is hard" and it has become so common in what is now the modern household that it is almost expected. There is no right way to go through a divorce, whether you are directly or indirectly involved , but there are a myriad of wrong ways. "Only the Beginning" is a story about a young man navigating through one of the wrong ways.
