Jeff Cranson was recently diagnosed with Melanoma that has spread throughout his body and brain. This is fast moving and has been extremely devastating.
Soon after his diagnosis Jeffrey suffered a stroke, from 2 large tumors on his brain. He was med flighted, to Seattle, from Sitka, Alaska (where he lives with his fiance, Alex) and underwent brain surgery January 27th to remove the tumors.
Jeff is working hard to regain his motor skills and speech. While progress is slow and Jeffrey is frustrated, we are hopeful that all of the love, prayers and positivity coming our way, lifts him up and helps him to fight this unfair and nondiscriminatory disease! He is a fighter and has the most supportive, loving and giving friends and family a man could have.
Jeff has a long road to recovery ahead of him. His family and friends are helping him recover with humor, love, comfort and support.
The money raised here will be used by Jeff and Alex for:
1. Medical expenses
2. Travel - our goal is for Jeff to gain strength in the coming days so we can move him back to Massachusetts
3. Living expenses - they will be looking for an apartment near Boston so they can use all the resources available for patients and their families that the hospital has to offer
4. Personal bills that will certainly accumulate while they are both working on a new life plan.
