LT Hari Prasad Khadka was born in Dagana, Bhutan, in 1964. Due to political unrest, he and his family were forced to leave their homeland and later resettled in Beldangi-2 refugee camp in Nepal. Life there was not easy, but Hari remained resilient, always hoping for a better future.
Eventually, he moved to the United States with his beloved wife, Puspa Khadka, his son Bikash Khadka, and daughter Nilam Khadka. Starting over in a new country brought its own set of challenges—adjusting to a different culture, working hard to provide for his family, and striving to build a stable life from the ground up. Through every struggle, Hari remained determined and devoted to his family’s well-being. Sadly, after years of dedication and perseverance, Hari Prasad Khadka passed away suddenly, leaving behind a legacy of strength, sacrifice, and love. His journey from Bhutan to Nepal, and finally to the United States, stands as a powerful story of resilience and hope.
This is set up as online Maano Chamal for his friends and families whom wouldn’t be able to make it to their house in this difficult time.
