To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

My dear grandfather Alawi Said returned to his Creator on the 13th of August 2025.

We pray Allah has mercy on him and grants him the highest form of Jannah/Paradise.

We plan on raising money for charity on his behalf to build wells and if the money is enough to build a masjid under his name In Sha Allah.

As this is a form of Sadaqah Jaariyah (ongoing charity), it will benefit us and him after our death and in our graves.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)." [Muslim].

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Sadaqah does not decrease property and Allah increases the honor of him who forgives, and no one will humble himself for Allah’s sake except that Allah raises his status.” [Muslim].
