Hey friends and family of Steve! This is his younger sister Laurie.

In early January, Steve was experiencing bronchitis and pneumonia. Shortly thereafter, GI complications began - leaving him uncomfortably distended. The medical team found a tumor in his colon that was creating a blockage. He was also found to have lesions in his liver and lungs. It was confirmed on February 6th that he has stage 4 colon cancer.

He has shared that he is fully trusting in God's will and will still fight for his life. He has been so grateful for each medical professional on this journey and got all those who are supporting him directly or indirectly.

We know this will be a marathon, not a sprint, so we welcome ongoing support. We'll post updates about his condition, next steps, treatment options, and care needs on CaringBridge as they arise, so stay tuned.
