Why we’re fundraising

Our friend Brandon recently suffered a serious Onewheel injury that will likely require surgery and extensive rehabilitation. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have health insurance, and the cost of surgery, hospital care, and follow-up therapy is overwhelming.

On top of the medical bills, this injury has taken away his ability to work for the time being. His wife is home caring for their two young children, so the family is facing not only the burden of medical costs but also the challenge of making ends meet while Brandon recovers.

Brandon has always been someone who works hard, helps others, and is dedicated to his family. Right now, he and his family need their community around them. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps cover surgery, recovery, and the support this family needs to get through this difficult chapter.
