Onekama Days Fireworks

The Portage Lake Association is putting on the Onekama Days Fireworks on August 8th, 2020. They will be fired off of barges on Portage Lake near Easy Street and are visible around and on most of the lake.
Because of the the limited public shoreline on Portage Lake, most of the people watching the fireworks are doing so on private land, in an automobile along the road side or in a boat, which means social distancing is easier to do. Our plans have been approved by Onekama Township and the Manistee Sheriff's office.
Because of COVID-19, the PLA had to cancel their fundraising events for 2020. We would appreciate any support you can give on our Onekama Days 2020 Fireworks. They are for our community, and for all to enjoy!
