House Fire Relief (O'Neil Family)
Donation protected
A short description is that on May 17th, around 3:00 p.m. my family's house burn down and we lost everything.
My mom was just arriving home from picking up her granddaughter from school and saw the house on fire. She ran inside to try and find the cat and let the dogs out of the house. She was treated for smoke inhalation and then transported to Desert Regional. The dogs were saved but she could not find the cat and he was sadly found later passed away. We are currently split up between two houses living with great grandparents in La Quinta, California and a family friend. We are trying to just let reality sink in of the situation since it has been less than 24 hours. We have a strong family unit and I know that we will make it through this. One day at a time.
Right now our main focus is pooling funds together for rehousing ASAP so that the little ones can get back to a regular life of stability and school.
