Over 5 years ago, I lost my right arm. Overnight, something I loved — gaming — became almost impossible. Most gaming devices are built for two hands. There wasn’t a real solution for someone like me. So I built my own. I took apart a gaming keypad, added a mouse sensor, experimented with straps and positioning, and slowly created a one-handed device that actually worked. For the first time since my injury, I could play again. When I shared it online, thousands of people reached out, especially amputees and gamers with disabilities, all saying the same thing: “I need this.” That’s when I realized this isn’t just about me. There are a lot of people being left out because hardware hasn’t caught up.

Now I’m turning this into a real product called ERCHAM, a one-handed gaming device designed for accessibility and performance. The first production prototype is already in progress. The immediate goal is to complete it and have it shipped here, then move into testing and refinement so it can become a reliable, real-world product. This is the closest this has ever been to becoming something real.
