Footprints Non-Profit Short Film

#Footprints is a non-profit short film by The Ajile L Turner Foundation in partnership with Bridge7 Media. Our creative arts program features youth from Dallas, Ft Worth and Austin TX. The short film is about a young male (Justin) under pressure and confused about his destiny.  After having an argument with his Dad he storms out of his home and catches the train which takes him to an unfamiliar place as he encounters interactions with the Lady In Pink reminding him of his purpose and a confrontation with Officer Edwards which proves to be Justin's major test in the film . He begins his journey to find his way back home encountering young people like himself (Laura, Andrew, and Isabel) who work together to help him find his way. 

The students and volunteers of #Footprints are passionate about and for the arts and volunteering their time during the summer for the foundation's footprints of a dream creative arts program.  Your help will directly impact the #YouthNow and ensure the success of completing our first short film.  Our proposed shoot date takes place June 20, 2015 through July 6, 2015 and we need your help to cover the expenses for the film crew and  equipment.  

The foundation has held two fundraisers this year to secure the starting phase of the project however we we can't do this alone. Any and All Donation Amounts is greatly appreciated and moves us a step closer to securing important  film equipment to begin shooting  on June 20, 2015.

Our program engages the talent of local youth in promoting a key social message on how youth should interact with law enforcement and authority figures. 

 Our program provides opportunities for youth to use and develop artistic ability. 

 Our program educates and raises community awareness of the problems and issues that our youth are facing today with law enforcement. 

 Our program uses creative expression to transcend cultural barriers.
