One Year for the Laskowskis

Kendal Laskowski, loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2020. If you knew him, you know that he loved nothing in the world so much as his devoted wife, Genie, and his two outstanding kids, Wyatt and Meyer.
Kendal was a really great family man, and his family relied upon him in so many ways. He devoted a great deal of his free time to personally coaching his younger boy, Meyer, in baseball, and to coaching his older son, Wyatt, in singing. To his boys, he was a confidant, a best friend, and their hero.
One of Kendal’s contributions to his community came in the form of his work as a teacher at a local public high school. He had the opportunity to teach a special group of students, who, due to challenging life circumstances, needed a smaller educational environment to obtain success. We know that his students will miss him dearly. Kendal was also a singer songwriter. One of our favorite songs, which he wrote and performed is Autumn Rose.
There is so much uncertainty that follows the loss of a husband, father, and provider.
Here is the idea. Let’s take one of those worries off the table for them. As anyone can imagine, the next months will be unimaginably difficult for the family. In order to help them grieve and heal emotionally, we would like to take all of the fear and anxiety about household finances away for the next year. We believe the family needs one good year, where nothing else changes, other than what has already happened. This means the boys are able to keep up their extracurricular activities; Meyer playing baseball and Wyatt continue to sing. We want them to be able to continue to pursue their education and their passions without worrying.
Please consider making a donation to show your support for Genie, Wyatt and Meyer. Your donations will specifically go toward filling the financial gaps of the next year as they go through the grieving process and begin to rebuild their lives. Anything more will go to providing a college fund for Wyatt and Meyer.
