Hi, my name is Sarah, and if you know me, you know my heart beats for rescue dogs.

For most of my life, I’ve been devoted to rescuing and helping dogs in need – both in the UK and abroad, in places like Cyprus and Serbia. It’s more than a passion and as cliche as it sounds it’s genuinely something I believe I was put on this earth to do.

This August, I’ll be taking a huge leap: I’ve made the decision to leave my full-time career behind and follow my heart. With my three rescue dogs by my side, I’ll be travelling from the UK to Serbia to volunteer at dog shelters and help on the front lines of rescue work.

I’ve saved every last penny I can to make this journey possible – but that’s only the beginning. My goal is to raise as much as I can to support dogs and rescue organisations in Serbia and surrounding countries. These dogs are in desperate need of:

• Medical care (from life-saving surgeries to routine vet visits)

• Food and basic supplies

• Shelter improvements and safe transport to forever homes

• Emergency response funds for crisis rescues

Every single penny raised will go directly to helping the dogs – no admin costs, no middlemen, just real support where it’s needed most.

I’ll be sharing the entire journey through my Instagram and TikTok, vlogging life on the road, rescue stories, and the realities of the work we’re doing. I want to bring you with me – to show you the dogs you’re helping and the lives you’re changing.

Why rescue means everything to me:

Rescue dogs have taught me more about life, love, and resilience than I ever imagined. They forgive the past, love without conditions, and ask only for safety and kindness in return. I believe every single dog deserves that chance – and I’m committed to giving it to them, one by one, for as long as I can.
