Hi everyone, my name is Danielle, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of one of my dearest friends — someone who has been carrying more than anyone should have to, all at once.

She is currently going through a divorce, which is already a heavy and emotional journey. In the middle of that, her beloved bonus mom was rushed into emergency brain surgery after a mass was discovered. My friend dropped everything to care for her during this difficult time.

Shortly after, she traveled out of state to be in a wedding — taking time off work from May 5th to 11th. On May 10th, just 30 minutes before the ceremony began, she received a heartbreaking call: her father had passed away unexpectedly.

She powered through the wedding, then caught an earlier flight to get home and start facing this new heartbreak. On May 14th, she went to her father’s apartment to begin cleaning it out, only to be told that the rent was still due.

As if that wasn’t enough, just two days later, on May 16th, the family horses — owned by her dad and bonus mom — had to be humanely euthanized. Her bonus mom, now struggling with limited mobility from her surgery, could no longer care for them. Both horses were elderly and ill, and the vet advised this was the kindest decision. My friend is now covering those costs, too.

And now, on May 23rd, she’s expected to pay the fees to collect her father’s ashes.

Through all of this, she’s also a devoted mother to three children, working hard to keep their lives stable in the middle of overwhelming emotional and financial stress.
