Hello, my name is Leah and I'm fundraising to help with medical and living expenses for the family of Tucker Knight. Tucker is a special guy who was born 100 days premature and spent the first year in the PICU at Texas Children's Hospital. After he got home he led a fairly normal life with his family: Chelsea (mom), Mathias (dad), big sisters (McKenna and Hailey) and brother (PJ). When Covid-19 hit, he was back to being fairly secluded because of the risk to his lungs, but by spring this year he was attending sports events and birthday parties.

This spring Chelsea and Mathias received the devastating news that Tucker had cancer. Our angel, Christy (Tucker's nurse and best friend) found a lump in his abdomen and immediately took action which most likely saved Tucker Man's life.

To date, Tucker has received multiple rounds of chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and a liver transplant. He still has more chemotherapy sessions and must stay in Houston for another month, minimum. Chelsea is a full time student and Mathias works nights, but because of their travel to help care for Tucker, their hours are crazy. They also have the kids at home who are supported by them and family and friends in the area.

The funds raised will be used to help cover the extensive travel expenses, medical expenses, and to supplement other living expenses. If there are any additional funds will be used to set up a savings account for education goals for Tucker and his siblings. This family... I cannot imagine the strength needed to be as resilient and good natured as they are, so any support given is absolutely heaven sent.
