Being diagnosed with a brain tumour at 23 albeit benign was still earth shattering, following on then the treatment to help de-bulk him.

I’ve had 2 brain operations both lasting 10/12 hours, the second being the most successful however came with permanent damage. A year on I endured a brutal 6 week course of radio therapy daily.

8 years on, my treatment has finally started to work however I will still be monitored for the rest of my life.

Unfortunately this health condition will never leave me. Myself my neurosurgeon and Bert are in a life long partnership.
