Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers of the internet,
I never thought I’d be here, writing a GoFundMe for my cat’s gastrointestinal misadventures, but alas—here we are.
Meet Baby Chunks: part cat, part gremlin, full-time chaos goblin. She enjoys long naps, meowing loudly, dramatic zoomies at 3 a.m., and apparently... eating string. Yes, string. Not tuna. Not treats. String.
Unfortunately, this particular snack choice landed her in emergency surgery to remove the offending thread from her digestive tract. (Who knew string could be so expensive?!) Baby Chunks came out of surgery like the warrior queen she is, stitched up and sassier than ever. But now I’m left with a vet bill that’s making me want to take after her and curl up in a ball in a patch of sunlight.
The total cost of Baby Chunks’ string-stravaganza is around $2,500, and while I’d love to pay it off with cat cuddles and emotional damage alone, the vet office insists on real money.
If you’ve ever laughed at a cat meme, been personally victimized by your own pet’s bad decisions, or just want to help a chonky little feline get back to living her best (string-free) life, any donation helps. Even $5 gets us closer to paying off this medical mayhem.
All funds will go directly to her vet bills (and NOT to any future strings, I promise).
Thank you from the bottom of our cat-hair-covered hearts.
Love,
Bec & Baby Chunks
P.S. She’s banned from craft supplies for life.
